I've made the ride from Seattle to the southern tip of Oregon via the coast highway 101 many times starting in about 1975 on a Honda XL350 dual sport. It is maybe my most favorite ride!! And, once we rode a 1976 Honda CB750K model two up from Seattle to Santa Cruz, Ca in late October. Turned out to be a great time of year for the trip! Few Winnebagoes on the highways. Leaves were turning bright orange. The first morning getting out of our tent in Lincoln City, Oregon was pretty cold, but from there on, it was just great. We always camped.

You will have a great time!!

If anyone bought the Tourafella aluminum luggage from CSC, and is interested in selling the stock panniers and mounting brackets, I am interested in buying your stock luggage for spare parts. Please send me a personal message here at China Riders.

The Cyclone has landed

Howdy All,

My RX-3 arrived yesterday afternoon. I'm very pleased with the fit and finish and I can tell after only 50 miles of break-in riding that I made the right choice to replace my 2002 Yamaha XT225 with this bike. I'm hoping to knock out 250 miles of riding over this weekend so I can get the first service out of the way and stretch the motor out above 5,000rpm.

Cheers,

Dan K.

Congratulations on new bike .Nice color choice, one of my favorite even though I bought the orange one for visibility sake. I have around 3200 miles on mine and it has proven itself over and over that it can get me there and back. Get more miles on it so you can join Joe and the Chinese guys when they come through your neck of the woods. rj

We are going to have a good time. I will post an updated route and a more detailed itinerary today or tomorrow.

Dan, the guys are right...your blue bike looks awesome.

The Colombians riding with us opens up a lot of possibilities, and I am very eager to ride in Colombia.

I'm talking to the guys in China every day. It's hard to say who is more excited about this ride. When I was there about 7 months ago, we first started talking about this ride in one of the Chongqing conference rooms. I showed my Chinese friends photos I had on my laptop of the places we would see on this adventure. My wife grabbed the Nikon when I was doing so. Their expressions say it all...

The interest level and the emails we are receiving on this ride are off the charts. It is going to be grand.

When we did the Baja ride a few weeks ago, I wondered if we'd be able to top that one; I think this ride will do so.

By the way, we're going to be doing Baja again, too, and I hope you can join us on that one. It will be sometime in August. Probably a weekend run down to San Felipe and Gonzaga Bay, and then a dirt road across the peninsula, running back to the border through the northern Baja wine country. But I digress. More to follow.

Barring any accidents, I will try to meet up with you guys in San Felipe coming down from Yuma.

Hello, guys, I hope some of you remember I was having a lot of problems with my bike RX3. Well now Zongshen Peru is trying to shuting down my videos and my YouTube Channel, they say the bike is OK, and all is normal. But they want I removed the videos, or they gonna sue me. I was hoping some of you guys can help me keep my videos in your own channel so I can still have a evidence that my bike is wrong.

Anyway it's just a favor I'm asking, if not possible that's OK. I guess I'm not gonna post anymore since I'm giving the bike back to them.

My YouTube Channel
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...AYtuCsGABrSflo

I remind you they give the bike with no oil and no liquid cooling and was ride for 2 weeks, but they still says its all OK. And that cause all the issues in the videos.

Enjoy your bikes and ride safe, take care.
