Stupid Things You Did During Covid....

.....there's no way you'd normally do.

Was talking about this with a buddy yesterday. There we were, within days, the stock market tanked, the gub'ment shut down the economy and sent everyone home to our Hidey Holes.

Once all the laundry and house cleaning was done, everything came to a halt (besides hitting the fridge and napping). Not sure about you guys, but I found myself scrambling for things to do in almost no time at all.....and came up with this. Spoke strawing Q. What a stupid freaking idea. Yes, it burned time and was tedious, but man....what a stupid idea. Boredom births many illegitimate brainstorms.

Anyone else?

Other than April 2020 when I had plenty to do but no one wanted me on their property to do it, very little changed for me as far as work was concerned. Flying was almost enjoyable again with zero crowds, traffic jams were non-existent, hotels were cheap.

As Mrs.C and I are practicing Introverts, she more than me, it was pretty much life as usual. Maybe I spent more time listening to internet radio.

Literally nothing changed here.
Woke up, went to work, came home, went to church on the weekends.
Wife kept the house, schooled the babies, grandpa and eldest son minded the sheep, pigs, and chickens.
Rode bike in our downtime.
God bless rural Oklahoma living.

Traffic was a lot better though.

Besides putting that stupid mask on that didn't prevent me from catching Covid, nothing really changed around here. Once the Hurricane hit everyone forgot about Covid.

I had to isolate for like 3 weeks, almost lost my wife to it, and we both lost 25 pounds.

Since I work(ed) in the state penn, even as a civilian employee, we were considered 'essential' workers, and I went to work everyday. Except when I had COVID and had to stay home for 2 weeks. Or a couple random weeks in the months before I had COVID thrown in where I had to stay home to self-quarantine.

I got Covid 2 weeks after the federal paid leave expired.
Luckily it was a big nothing burger, but I had to use my own vacation time for the mandated 2 weeks off. Wish I got some of the federal monies.
