Welcome! It looks like it was pre-assembled for you? I would suggest still going through the bike and following the suggestions in the link found in my signature. Most sellers that assemble them just slap them together, and often very poorly.

Nice bike and Howdy. Red is the fastest color.

HAHA thanks guys ya i had them assemble it for me prior to shipping and then went thought it when it got here and double checked everything and put locktite on the bolts. I am going to try and set valve lash this weekend as long as no other projects come up between now and then. otherwise i love the bike its a blast to ride.

I will have to keep an eye out for him and chat it up if i see him.

So i did some work on the bike over the weekend. i got my valves set where they need to be and a 17 front and 45 rear sprocket installed with a 110 jet for the Carb. the bike runs so much better. i did notice that the stock chain seems big for this set up. What you you recommend for an O-ring chain for it. Thanks everyone.

I ran a 128 link chain. RK, EK SROZ, or a DID o or x ring chain are all good options.

In the mean time until you get the new chain you can just remove two links from your stock chain. Stock chain is 130 link. You will need a 128 link chain.

I remembered there was someone from VA recently who registered a Hawk, not to mention other members months ago.

Ive seen where people have been able to register. Im just curious to know what all was involved in the process. Ive never registered a import vehicle before. Looking to get my ducks in a row before spending that kinda money.
