wifes 150 needs some work
while we were out camping and riding kellys atv started showing some signs of some needed tlc
first it wouldn't charge over 11.6 volts and would just die while riding ( ok need a new battery) then started stuttering wile taking off (ok have a new carb) the shifter seems to not want to go into reverse sometimes but I think that is just a sticky cable (will lube that up) then while we were loading to come home i noticed that the left front tire had a bit of a lean to it. took the cap off the rim only to have parts of the outer bearing fall onto the ground got it loaded and came home and tore into it yesterday. under one of the pieces you can see a small piece of paper with chinese writing on it ....this was in between the bearing and the hub (will get a better pic of it later)  me taking it all apart    battery out and replacement being picked up today as well as a new uni-filter that will be relocated under the seat.  whole front of body has to come off to get to carb   carb and air box exposed for removal  carb and air box removed  now to get all the parts and put it all back together.

I got tired of removing the bodywork to get to the air filter. Notice how I cut the hole in the plastic with a steak knife.
I put some plastic under the seat area, and it has made a terrific splash shield. The air filter hasn't been wet so far. You can just see some of the old blue Reliance water container that I cut up.

I will do what you did ....unifilter will be here wed.
took a couple of comparison pics of the new battery vs the old one (the new one has thicker plates and a higher output)   going to need to stuff some foam in the sides and back  and because we are waiting on parts I got to work on some cosmetics a crack in the footwell

so today we picked up here new front bearings and installed them ...work great.
put the new carb on with old air box for now till we get the uni-filter. now get this.....all I did to the ignition was unplug it when I removed the body ....removed it from the body today to do some tests with the new carb and now the damn thing will not start with the start button...starts off the solenoid no problem but now no brake lights and no start button. same thing occurred on the 200cc beast ..starts at the solenoid but not the start button.

That happened to me with my Beast two years ago, and it was one of the terminals on the ket switch. I plugged a different switch in to test and it still wouldn't start, so I tore everything apart. Little did I know that the switch I was using for testing was wired differently. Ugh.
I eventually pried the clip open on the switch and pulled the boot off, and that revealed the broken wire. I resoldered it and the quad fired right up.

narrowed it down to where the ignition plugs into the harness so going to remove the plug ends and hardwire it for now.

well after mucking with wiring and testing I tried the ignition from the 110 (because they both have 4 wire ignition) and low and behold the damn thing comes alive! so I tried the same ignition on the 200 gio beast and low and behold it comes alive too!
what are the odds that both machines had a bad ignition?

By ignition, do you mean the key switch?
