2015 cb300f

I recently evenly-traded a new 2017 venom x20 vader2 for a 2015 honda cb300f with 7,500 miles. the guy said it just had new crankshaft installed at honda dealership because of a recall, he had gone in for new tires on it. the cb300f was totally stock when i traded. they do look similar....you would think a 1cyl thumper would give some thump, but it rides smooth as glass. i got it up to 80mph and prob could go a smidgen faster...
i am 6'2" 210lb, and my knees are bent slightly more than i want them to be. its almost as cramped as a ninja250 but not quite as bad. i am in my mid 40's and once i ride 30 min or so on this bike i want to rest my knees. i could stick it out for an hr ride but no more.... it does ride upright position and my back is comfortable. i do like the feel vision and handling of this bike, it does feel larger and heavier than a 286cc bike...it feels more like a 500cc from yrs ago....it has all the pickup i want...love love love the fuel injection.

you know me i do not like rear fenders from the factories

fender delete Kit is awesome!
item:
Targa Fender Eliminator X-Tail Kit fits Honda CB300F 2015-2016
link:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Targa-Fende...72.m2749.l2649

before fender delete:

fender delete kit installed:
Attachment 13998
the kit instructions were spot on, but had to read it several times in its entirety to grasp it....works perfect, and couldn't have asked for better kit.... be careful removing tail lid above tail light! it slides to rear while lifting, you will break the tabs....
1hr total.
notice all the groms are gone? sold out!

exhaust kit

the exhaust kit works flawlessly if you buy a gasket for it, and the gasket doesn't come in the kits. i wasted a weeks time tearing my existing one up while trying to reuse it. the videos look sooooo easy to remove old one from old exhaust. i screwed mine up first yank. if you buy a kit go ahead and buy a gasket because of the 7 motorcycle dealers in middle tn, NONE of them carry it in stock... other than gasket shortage, this is a perfect kit.
NOTE:
wear earplugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
without ordering the extra baffle it will damage your hearing.
never in my life have i complained about an exhaust being so loud!
you will have hearing loss! the kit appears to be affordable, but once you
buy gasket and extra baffle, you are reaching $300 in the entire kit.
saves 12 lbs too! no reprogram/remapping needed....

Why can't I find those kinds of deals... I just can't find anyone who wants to trade a nice $4k Honda Bike for a $1,200 China Bike... around here you find people trying to selling their $1,200 beat up Honda for over Dealership sticker prices like it's made of pure platinum and gold

right now i think it was a deal of a lifetime for me. though, he came to me for the offer. yeah, cant find these offers if tried. later i did find out he did have it listed on local craigslist......so far i am very pleased. he is a mtsu student and i think he has gotten caught up in the grom clan hype....
