Anyone try a digital speedometer mod on the BD125-2?

So far I've done;

17th front sprocket.
Charcoal canister delete.
Stock air filter change to mini Cone filter.
Exhaust baffle removal.

LED Brake light and all turn signals.
Mirror Extenders.
Added Rockbros saddle bags.
Lowered seat.
Added 5" decals to cover stock sticker.
Added second gasket to fuel cap.
Gator covers over front forks.

I ordered this x-pro 125cc cafe cruiser from powersportsmax 2 days ago. It hasn't shipped yet but im hoping it arrives in one piece. I have no motorcycle experience or even a license and im not very mechanically inclined so this is gonna be a fun experience. But i always wanted a motorcycle and i got very jealous when my neighbor got a motorcycle and i don't. Im really hoping it arrives with no major damage. Also, i have a question what hour did your motorcycle arrive? im a little worried it might arrive after im done with my vacation. Hopefully it arrives by 8/28 if not then im gonna have to have it delivered in the afternoon at some point.

Here is my modified BD125-2 XP25ro X

I did a little work on my BD125-2 X25. I got this a while back and really wanted to do a Scrambler tribute bike. I have a zs212 that I would like to stick on it, but not sure how involved . Need to figure that out soon.

Idle issues

Hello,

I just purchased the BD-125-2. It seems to run well, but will not stay on or idle without the choke.

This is my first bike so relatively new to any mechanics, but I am willing to try whatever helps.

Thanks in advance

It's actually titled as a Jiangsu Baodiao Bd125-2

Got it from PowersportsMax.
Ordered on Thursday, 4/20, arrived on Tuesday 4/25, put it together in a few hours by myself. Bill of sale arrived Thursday 4/27, went to DMV Express to get it registered and that cost $250

Did get insurance on it for a whopping $4/mth from State Farm!!

Took it around the neighborhood.
Won't run with stock carb without chock!
I like the style and looks but I do notice the front suspension does not feel like it has correct fluid as it bounces all over the place and I didn't feel comfortable going over 35 mph
Did you end up changing the carb? If so, did this fix the issue of not being able to ride or idle without the choke?

Looking forward to hearing some ride reports from you!
Where can i get the plate that closes this off. I could cut off the pipe near the head and pinch it closed or cap it but there is a neat block-off cover available somewhere.

removing CA emissions components boom BD125-2

I will be removing the device on the left side of engine and the one on the right side of the frame.

Is there a video that shows what to do with the various hoses? I find some but they are sketchy.

Does anyone know where I can get a block-off plate for where the egr attaches to the lower front of the engine?

Also, I think the manifold front and rear of the carb has two hose connectors that will need to be capped off (correct?). Any neat-looking solutions?

Will the tank vent need some sort of filter or can its hose just dangle?

When I got one for my Boom Vader. I believe I just searched up Gy6 block off plate and got it from walmart.
