Does the speedee has the same suspension as all the other chinabikes?

EDIT: Looking back through the previous posts I see I already asked about the suspension. Sorry!

Para,

Glad to see you were undamaged from your drop. Nice to pick up a light bike in the dirt isn't it? Could you imagine how hard it would be getting a BMW 1200GS horse up?

No need to spend a bomb getting new tires for your bike. THough some may disagree I think putting too heavy a tire on the smaller engines wuill orobably hurt performance somewhat. For trail riding I would suggest a pair of Cheng-Shin tires. I have ridden them on dirt fully loaded and never had one problem. They make a couple different kinds of 4.6" wide backs tires and a very competent 3.0" front.

Also worth checking out is "Kings tire". They make a larger assortment of tires for dirt and dualsport, and won't break the bank either. I know guys who put them on KLR 650's. Th KT966 line is what I currently use on my Chinese 200. I got rid of the stock tires very soon after I bought it and replaced them with these. Felt much better ever since. http://www.kingstire.com/Dual%20Sport.htm

They also make more aggressive ones as well....

Nice report. Be sure to include yourself in some of the pics!

Carl, that Kings tire looks good. I have a Duro Median on the rear now and it is much better on the street, but I think you are right about the heavier tire hurting performance.

A Speedee i want

Don't own a Chinabike, yet.

Have to clean out the garage and paint the floor first, wife's condition for purchase.

This is one motivated dude, now!

So, half the floor is bare and with a little scraping up of caked on crud, will get painted tonight. Then, the other side(where all the junk is piled up).

Hope to place a Speedee order next W.E. 8O

i'm glad to read your speedee did great i just got one about a week ago, ques about the suspension tho, my rear shock feels real stiff and seems to bottom out with out much travel, was yours like that? did you do something to it to be able to handle jumps, i'd just imagine mine being way to stiff to handle even little jumps
