Looks good to me. I will post it today.
Here's a slight route deviation to avoid I-15. I've seen minivans and honda civics on this route. Alternate route: https://goo.gl/maps/yG1MGKKxRtybGz4EA

The route you are talking about will add 11.6 miles. The route I'm talking about is as follows: From US 66 you turn left onto Swarthout Canyon Road. Swarthout Canyon Road will take you to Lone Pine Canyon Road. At Lone Pine Road you can turn right towards the 138 or turn left towards Wrightwood. Lone Pine Canyon Road ends where it meets CA 138. Turning left towards Wrightwood will add 11.6 miles to the route. Hope that cleared up things a little.

I posted on facebook. Two guys said they would go and two more said maybe. That makes it 4 confirmed and two maybes. I will remind everyone about the ride two weeks prior and see if we have more takers. I plan on taking pictures and video of the trip. Then I'll see about putting together a youtube video or something.

Is this related to your planned route?

Yes it is. We will be tourist for the day. The Summit Inn was also known for serving an omelet made from one ostrich egg. One ostrich egg equals about 24 chicken eggs. Ate there a few times but never had the ostrich omelet. Sad to see landmarks disappear like that.
