Bashan BS250Gy-9 "WIll" sprocket questons

Hello everybody again, I posted here this winter and everybody was very helpful. I need some help with my "Will" on changing the rear sprocket. I looked at some of the other threads and haven't found one that has enough information. I apologize if I haven't if its there and I have over looked it. My bike has plenty of throttle left in fifth gear at 35 mph(gps) 40 speedometer but rpms go up quickly from their and I'm constantly trying to shift up. The bike will do 56 (gps) 70 by speedometer but is really revved up at that point. It came stock with a 17t front sprocket and a 56t rear sprocket with a 428 chain. I would like to gear this down or up as much as possible without having to ride the clutch too much on take off. This bike will see overwhelmingly just street use and my never see trail.

side view of bike kickstand seems a little long, would like to bike not be so upright when on stand. Left plastic on seat to protect seat, it seems to be wearing well lol

I'm not sure but I think I saw in another thread it was some kind of chain catcher should the bike throw the chain, It s cleans because its hasn't been rode much and it was in back of the truck and got rained on the other day. just got it tagged the other day. it has 101 km on now, 56 km today the rest just in the yard.

I would get a 44-46T rear sprocket. It appears to be the common China bike sprocket.

Amazon has them. The picture is just a stock photo. Take a look at the drawing and compare to yours.

I always use a 1980 Honda XL185S for fitment.

I admit to not being very savvy mechanically but those Amazon sprockets (for Honda 185) appear to have 6 mounting holes set wide out, where the picture shows 4 close in?? This is the problem I had with my Ronco when the only sprocket they sold had the 6 wide set holes, and they cut and welded my old sprocket! It appears that many of the Chinese bikes have used the Honda sprocket configuration, but Ronco and Bashan (probably among others) use a different - not so widely available - format!

The 6 hole sprocket is just a stock photo. The drawing shows the correct pattern for the JTR269.45 sprocket with 4 bolt holes.

Dossbag linked to the same amazon listing and he actually has one on his Will.

Ah, I see Katoranger! I am trying to get my rear sprocket replaced - back to 38T and original part, but having a hard time here finding one! Would order one online, too, but postal services to here are unreliable and take so long - I only have 3 months left before I go back to Brazil, and it is worse there!!!

Thanks Katoranger and Dossbag and everybody else for your help and comments. I ordered the 44t sprocket from Amazon as suggested and a new chain. It should be here Friday but not sure if I will be able to install until next week but I will keep you updated, thanks again
