Anybody try the Dong Fang 250?

Buddy of mine bought a new one a year ago. Same lean carb setup as my lifan 200 out of the box. I pulled the needle up and that helped. Still need to un cork the idle/starting circuit. Very cold blooded at start up. He would like to install a slip on. Any recomendations? Anybody with backround on this bike chip in. Thanks.

I haven't seen one up close, but I suspect it has the same PZ27 carb as most China bikes. If it's cold blooded (and you intend to install a slip-on), it might need a fatter slow jet.

No offense to the mod who moved this post but this bike is a absolute dual sport? Not a street bike? Anyway, I figure somebody has one.

I know the bike is not a street bike or bobber, but I am fairly certain the engines of all their single 250's will be very similar. See if this thread helps out...

I moved it to the DS section for you. I can understand the mistake, since the Dong Fang bikes we've seen in the past have been bobbers.
