All new internals fitted with star wheel n shift lever rod
Works correctly finally

Late to the party. Glad it works right! But, those 3rd gears are definately worn enough to slip out of gear. Replace them next time the engine is out.

Actually they’re 4th I got it wrong
Think the damage came from it being rammed to 4th after not staying in 4rd
New shafts fitted as that’s about the simpler way to deal with it

Do you think this was influence by it not having a cushioned hub and placing more stress on the gearbox? (since it was a 2014)
Also, what does a new gearbox cost?

It’s a cushioned hub
Don’t assume years in different countries are the same

Glad to hear that. Do you know if the 2014 Rx3 that was sent to Peru has a cushioned hub?

I think I sold that dude in Peru a Cush rubber so might well be...

This sounds like the biggest piece of the puzzle for me...
I've found pictures online (sorry these are the best I could find, no one wants to take a picture of their sprockets apparently)
Here's one that shows the sprocket of the 2014 version:



And then the 2016 version:



Am I correct in assuming the non-cushioned rear hub has a large mounting bolt pattern and the cushioned hub has a smaller pattern?

Yes the CSC or Red bike is cush drive the orange MINSK that I think is Bellarus and non cush
