I have not cut the catalytic. Not sure I want to undertake that. For now, I'm just enjoying the bike for what it's worth. It definitely attracts a lot of attention, especially at night being all lit up.
I hear ya, I was going to cut mine and gut it till I saw the CRF 50 exhaust. Just a pipe and maann it makes a huge difference without the cat cause the cat is so restrictive.
