150 mile ride Saurday

Yep, geocaching again. 5 for 5 on the day.

The geocache is about 100 yards behind the bike. Notice what the gypsy moth caterpillars have done to the trees.

This was the geocache. Little bugger was tucked down in there pretty good.

Interesting rock.

A great view.

The best geocache of the day. You wouldn't believe how remote of a spot this thing was in.

I rode that poor bike harder yesterday than I ever have, It didn't even hiccup. I also passed the 2000 mile mark. So far it has been a good little bike!

Those are some of the coolest pics posted so far, I would love to see that tower and that huge boulder, Almost looks like a petrified tree...Nice area.

Thanks for the great pics. That is the best thing about geocaching is the sights you would not normally see. I took some nice pics last week when we were geocaching as well. Need to figure out the whole picture posting thing sometime and get them on here.

www.geocaching.com

It is a treasure type hunt for hidden cache or points of interest that you use a GPS to find.

I've been thinking about getting involved. So far I have joined geocaching.com and have printed out a few cache sites(never though there would be so many so close!)... just haven't made it out to locate one yet.

By the pics it looks like madmaximum had a good time... I need to get off my butt and go!

It is a good excuse to go out and ride. I haven't gone for quite awhile, but it will be part of my big ride coming up in August.
