This, right here, is what you need to do. Send it in an e-mail so you have documentation of it, and very specifically state that they should cover the return freight of the bike since they were the ones that sold you the damaged product.

Once a bank gets involved, the company will lose even more money, so it is in their best interest to make it right for you, because the fees they will incur can be pretty nasty, and they are well aware of it.

What they are hoping you will do is give up and just accept it as is if they push back hard enough. It's a shitty business practice that many shops like to employ. Threaten their bottom line.

Alrite, guys if anyone's interested I got an update this is going to be a long process. Anyways I'm not saying much cause I mite get a small resolve but these guys are lying dirt bags we need to start a stickie for safe places to buy these from that stand by their warranty on these bikes and products and don't lie and con u. But anyways I do think these are good bikes but these companies are ruining the reputation of Chinese bikes. It's a shame cause they are a steal but if their are problems u are in big trouble cause of the shady sellers all I want is my 90day warranty after that ill eat it. But they should honor that. Wats the problem with these dirt bag sellers anyways ever heard of repeat customers? Thought that's was a good thing and positive reviews bring more business not countless complaints like mine on ur company. Anyways guys been waiting on parts for 3 months I think i will receive them soon ill let everyone know. Also they so kindly refunded me a measly $100 when I asked for just $200 for the rust and weld damages said I was abusing them cause they are already sending me 3 parts I haven't received yet. big mess ill update further with all e-mails so u guys can judge for urselves. But stay away from Texas power sports that's for sure.

It is a shame this happened. Have you been able to ride the bike at all?

Those three parts will probably take 2 months to arrive. That is how long it took them to send me a front wheel. I refuse to do business with txpowersports ever again, and I actively and repeatedly tell others to take their money elsewhere.

Glad you are making some headway with this at least. It's better than nothing.

Argh! What a demoralizing thing to read halfway through my four hour delivery window!

I hope it all works out to your advantage and you get many happy years out of the bike.

ectomite,

I had the same problem with txpowersports and RPS.

My post about it is under PureDirt or just search Viper Rickypowersports (therps.net)

txpowersports should be put out of business and his other businesses. RPS knows what they are importing and shipping, problem bikes and they don't care. You have to be like a dog on a bone to solve any problems with RPS products. They kick the can down the road and kick the can down the road thinking that you will just go away if they put you off.

If you need any help just call me, my phone number is on DIYcycles.us

I can't tell what all the pics are of but I would touch up the paint with a can of black, or auto paint touch up pen, or I have even used a black perminate marker to hide scuffs.

Go to ebay or better yet Amazon with 2day shipping and get some kick butt shorty clutch and break levers a get riding........riding takes away the sting!

It will be in a metal frame so it should not be an issue but every now and then a shipper can manage to get past it.

Rest assured that a lot of the parts are really cheap to replace and most of the damage I've seen is minor compared to the damage I've done by a simple lay over.

They come to you just as if you were a dealer, crated on a truck with no instruction and subjected to shippers.

You have to realize that and be ready to make the call on what is acceptable to you and move on.

or refuse and get after the party that sold it to make it up to you, they are at the mercy of the shipping too.
