P.S....broken legs really suck.
Heal quick, AdventureDad! But at least you now have more motivation to heal quickly!

Lol...thank you! and believe me, getting to shower, stand, fix a sandwich by myself and be a self-sufficient 45 year old man (although my wife has made it enjoyable) is motivation enough!!!
That, and we are both long-time RN's, I don't want to wind up like some of the people we care for, although I am typically headstrong, and tend to overdo things, I am really heeding my surgeons advice to go slow and easy.

Hopefully it was not your shifter leg.

I found this pic compress app for Android which is free and works well. Use it to send lots of those birthday pictures to us!

It was, it made the ride home fun, had to shift with my heel, after it took me around 30 min to dig the bike out of the mud and water and stand it upright. Good grief, that hurt. The funny thing is the worst part is after all that and my ride home, was the act of trying to put the kickstand down and get off the bike in the driveway.

***Update; my bike is scheduled to arrive Friday the 13th... hmmm, now this is one time a delay wouldn't hurt my feelings.

I feel for you! I just spent much of the last nine months on my back or in the "shop" being tended to and wrenched on. As much as Mrs. 2LZ has been a saint, and the nursing staff were wonderful, it's nice to be able to do for myself again. It will come. Be patient.
