You will need to go to www.photobucket.com and upload them there, then you click on the image link after you have uploaded and paste it in your message body.

I am presently in the process of up-loading my thousands of images into Photobucket, and hopefully, the ability to insert them into e-mails and forums will be as easy to learn as the up-loading seems to be.

Time will tell . . .

It's rough, being 'puter stupid . . .

A question: photobucket says their service is free -- there ain't no free lunch -- how do they make money ?

Advertisements and pop-ups. You can actually start a website, provide a service through your servers like storing information(photos). And make a pretty decent living just by the money you make if people click on your advertisements that are displayed on your web page.

Let's see how this works, now . . .

By George, I think I've got it now . . .

This is my 85 Yammy Big Wheel -- starts and runs like a dream and has a new Kendra Bear Claw On the back that'll dump your butt in a heartbeat, and it's yours for $1,200.

That works for the link, but you can also imbed the image into the post by clicking the img tab on photobucket and pasting it in the message body. That way instead of a link we just automatically get the picture in the post.

That works...if you want it to show the photo in the message all you have to do is type behind the link

example:

and it will show up looking like this.

You could also try bikepics

www.bikepics.com

Can upload photos of your bikes http://www.bikepics.com/members/gy6rider/

But photobucket does the trick, and is easier to share from... It also doesn't watermark your image... Bike Pics is a cool site though.

Thanks, guys, -- you've given me something new to work on ! !

76 isn't too old to learn something, is it ?

So I type to the right of it . . .

Lemme go try that now . . .

It didn't work -- there are four links under each picture -- which one do I choose to type the [img] to the left and right of, and do I type it on the picture site, or on the e-mail or forum post site ?

You don't have to type it at all. On photobucket it will give you a few options. One is a URL, the other is a LINK and the other is HTML, the way to embed the image is to click on the one that says IMG, it will automatically copy it for you, and the you just have to paste it. What I do is open chinariders.net the open a new tab with photobucket that way I don't loose anything when I go back and forth. You can PM me and I'll help step by step.
