Help me decide

New member here... Great resource. Pretty sure I'm gonna pick up a Tao Tao 125d or equivalent for my 6 year old and am lookin to get one for myself to putt around the yard. Only have around 3 acres to ride around so don't think I need a 150 but my choices in the 125 range are limited in the bigger rides to the 125f1 Tao Tao or the Coolster 3125d. Both are semi auto. How are those power plants and the semi auto tranny? Or is it better to just get the 150 in the comparable model with cvt? I'm 5'11" 200 lbs. property is mix of hills and flat.
Any advise? Anything else I should be looking at?

Kris

I would just go with the Coolster 3150dx-2 and call it done. They are the same size frame just different motor. I got one for my daughter 2 years ago and all I have done to it was change oil and a rear break pad. You won't have to worry about upgrading when your son gets older. APSCUSA has a great deal on twin packages on the Coolster 3150dx-2 for $2165 including shipping.http://www.apscusa.com/New-150-Big-T...kup_p_585.html

taotao

if you do not want to spend much on the atv for yourself... look at the 110 h... 125c model bigger than the 125 d and might suit you instead of buying the larger 150 model.... it is not a cvt drive so it might suit you better... it has a choice of a 3 sprrd with reverse or a forward and reverse..... the 3 speed gives you more power to climb because of th gear coice... both good machines...

I can't seem to find anything on a 110h... Is it the same size as the Coolster 3125c? Or maybe the 3125xr-8?

Kris
