Question Kansas Newbie with 2017 Hawk; First 200 mi.

I got a Hawk from a teenaged seller on CycleTrader in Oklahoma who was moving. I really appreciate the tips and experience shared on mods. Changed oil, modified airbox and upgraded filter, then installed a Mikuni carb today with a 110 jet.. Ordered the front sprocket, and will do rear and chain together, later on. I guess I'm beginner to intermediate on tools and experience. Carb is improvement, but seems to need a little fine-tuning. It seems "throaty" by sound and has a slight hesitation until you deliver more fuel after slowing for a turn. Do I need to go back inside the carb, to try a different jet or other part? My bike also needs a replacement left side/rear fairing/cowl. Do we have a US market for replacements? Any ideas appreciated!

Amended: Found/ordered missing fairings on CSC; thanks JerryHawk250 and pcspecialist!

Welcome!
Hopefully other Hawk owners will chime in soon.

Hi there!
did you replace the slow or pilot jet? Try a 25. This should help with your carb problem.
