WHAT IS A GOOD 200CC + FOR 15 YEAR OLD.

I am looking to get my son a bigger quad as he has outgrown his predator 90. We ride alot of sand and desert and looking for something that can climb and run better than what he has now. Any help is very much appriciated as I do not know much about the china atv's and I do not have 4 grand to spend on a quad. Thanks again for any help.

I have a vbike 250v4s and like it alot. The cost is close to what you would pay for a 200cc.It also has a lifan motor on it.Here is a link to the web site.Hope this helps.

keep in mind that you should be mechanically inclined, or willing to spend some money

Wrenching is no problem as I work on all my vehicles myself. None of the jap manufacturers have anything I am looking for (except for the yfz250 but costs to much) and from what I have seen some of the chinese machines are almost to the level of the japanese. That is why I am asking to see how to look for and who to stay away from.

AS 'kczukiman' mentioned, check out VBike--discount bikes just waiting to be ridden and wrenched on. I think they are made by Shineray which has a good, solid (for Chinese) line of quads, or made by Hi-Bird (which might be made by Shineray :? in the sometimes confusing world of source of Chinese manufacturer) which is about the same as Shineray as far as reputation goes.

The nice thing is...you won't pay $4000, only about $1000, but you won't be getting only 1/4 the bike, either.
