Is it semi auto or full auto? Do you have to shift forward gears 1-2-3-4 at all? If semi auto the clutch is adjustable. If full auto the clutch is not adjustable.

Try adjusting the clutch, which is found in the center of the cover; it is a stud with a nut. Follow Youtube instructions for an old Honda XR50.

Look at the center of the clutch cover; it has an adjusting screw and nut. I know that it is full auto, but it still requires adjustment.

Put smaller front sprocket on engine. If that does not help enough put bigger rear sprocket on.

Clutch adjustment

Hello.... I hope you saw the ..adjust clutch on a Honda atv video........ you have to adjust it properly..... you say this is brand new,, and it was burned out when you took it off,,,,, is the old clutch the same thing??? it seems hard to believe the clutch works in reverse and not drive.. please tell us more.... changing the gtears will not help if no one played with the gear before... use 10-40 oil ... no systhetic oil... the gear shifter you show can move it into any gear... even in second gear it should move the bike... please tell us more..
