I think I only torqued mine header nuts to 12ft lbs... I too was afraid to break something off going over that ... might get brave one of these days and get closer to the Honda torque specs

A little red Loctite does a good job of keeping the nuts secure. If you have enough stud protruding after tightening the nuts, you can always double-nut.

So busted out the torque wrench tonight and hit those two header bolts. Set it for 15lbs and it took 3 to 4 good turns to get them where they needed to be. Will fire it up tomorrow and see if it helped at all.
