Looking for a factory take off muffler. Want to quite down my 250 a bit, seems the PO mucked with the muffler. Hit me up with your parts.

Please remind us of which bike you have. Pics would be great.

if you can, a vid of the bike may be helpful... looking at your MT250, i think the stock muffler may be rebuildable, and maybe the PO removed the packing or it just blew out or something... any fiberglass packed muffler will deteriorate, and do so at higher rates of speed when the bike is abused or rung out for all its worth...which seems to be how your bike was originally treated...

I just figured out which bike you have, pchitti. I agree with BB on repacking the muffler; just make sure you use four stroke packing.

the two stroke packing in my FMF powercore2 has held up fine for me so far... has seen some pretty brutal abuse... sustained high rpm, extreme exhaust temps, and its still doin good... probably helps that the powercore is a straight thru style muffler, but would pass the broomstick inspections....LOL has some wire criscrossed just back from the opening....

Not really limiting to model. Any of the 250 or 200 mufflers should be able to be fitted.
Im going to look at repacking also, i just love spare parts... the bike i traded went with a couple of boxes of spares. Lol

mirrors can be had dirt cheap off ebay, as well as the clutch perch/lever...if it looks similar, it should work as long as its for the appropriate size bars... heck i am using a pit bike shorty clutch perch/lever on my bike...one of the cheapo adjustable ones...
