A Big Howdy from Warm, Sunny South Carolina!
I was an avid rider for most of my life. Then poor health and poor vision put a stop to that. My health has improved, so after being out of bikes for fifteen years, my 30 year old son just bought me a used RPS Viper 150! I still can't see well enough to get a license, but I can follow my son around off road. ...at a moderate pace, of course.

Sorry to hear about the MD. Enjoy the bike while you can. The Viper 150 should be light enough to handle.
I was laid up for many years myself because of a back injury. Yes it's nice to be back on two wheels and enjoying every minute of it.

I've had dozens of street bikes, large and small, but this is my first off-road bike. The handling of the Viper is quite light, and it's so easy to balance at low speeds. Riding it reminds me of the '60's Honda 305 Dream and 150 Dream I had so many years ago.

A fellow Carolinian (I'm from the Northern half)!
I sold my last bike two years ago... you're making me look bad for giving it up. ;p My oldest is 5 (partially why my wife won't let me ride anymore), buy hopefully he'll be as generous as yours is when he's grown and get his old man back riding. Enjoy the bike and the time with your son! -T |
