5500 is a lot of miles from what I hear - You definitely paid for that thing being a daily driver. Hope you find the rest of your problem and glad they gave you warranty parts. In the meantime new motor man! I think they're 300 bucks or so.
Also I agree replace the trans bearings regardless especially having completed all the other work you did - And ALL things requiring bearings can be replaced with better quality for not much more money. Plus it seems like you are spending the time to get it done right. I used to repair german planetary gear drives and the main point of failure was a $35 bearing that would be the cause of ruin for a $7000 case. Keep the faith you'll get 'er fixed! |
