I was just thinking about this project; the lady at Letterlock in Sumas, WA asked if the frame arrived in good condition. I was hoping to see an update. Thanks!

The frame is fine. Pretty tough to do any damage to it.

Last night I got started with the welding that needs to be done. Welded in a piece of angle behind the engine mounting area so that I can slide the engine back further to give clearance for the gas tank.

I also welded up the kickstand mount that was cracked.

Then I started on the exhaust. Found a bike seat post that was the right diameter. Going to use the plasma cutter to make a flange at work today.
