Are you have a MPD issue, or are you genuinely processing all of those emotions?

Riiiiight. I'm betting there are voices in there. The same voices that say "buy another bicycle, you need more."

Here it is in all its' glory.

Even came with pickups, plugs, and neutral switch wire. Most don't. This will be plug and play. At least when I access it.

That's a nice stator. Did you send him one of your other stators for a core?

Yup. I bought a spare stator and rotor a couple years ago. The stator turned out to be in worse electrical condition than mine.

Does Custom Rewind try to replicate the original stator, or upgrade it?

Custom Rewind upgrades by using a wire with a better quality insulation (I was told Phelps-Dodge) and epoxies that are current, not 40 year old, technology.

Does this look familiar?

I must be getting better at this. 90 minutes from the time I put the bike on the center stand to having the engine sitting on the MC lift. Another half hour to have the rear cover off. Took four hours the last time I dropped it.

Plan is to have buttoned back up by lunch time tomorrow. Well, that's the plan anyway.

I know I've said it before, but that looks like it would be very cool in a little scaled-down hot rod. It is replete with liquid cooling and a u-joint. I really like the V layout of the cylinders.

Didn't get back home until after lunch, so no finish today. Engine is back together, though. I have tomorrow off so guess what I'm doing.

Man, that took ALL day.

I did lose an hour of my day off dealing with my boss, who has no concept of the term, 'My day off'. We are having a meeting with the GM tomorrow about it.

Lost two more hours due to "I just had that *&$@ing wrench in my hand".

After all that, it's back together. It starts and stops. Riding to work tomorrow to see if it's all better. Too tired to care tonight.
