Even with a 200cc engine, I think the sofa, et cetera, adds a lot of weight, and saps the power. :roll:

I think the mototaxis are a wonderful idea in Lima.

However, I wouldn't employ a mototaxi, with any size engine, for adventure touring along the Amazon! 8O

Give us an update. I think a mototaxi would be fun. Should get one for my Dad. Most of his trips are short and under 30 MPH.

I'm on my Versys, crossing back into Peru from Chile tomorrow, should be able to Puno for the start of the mototaxi event.
