Upgrade all tires or just rear?

We bought our son one of the taotao 125 atv's for Christmas and he's been riding it like crazy. I'm thinking about upgrading the tires since the stock ones are pretty bad. Last weekend we found out how bad they load up, and even when they were clean it wouldn't pull it self up onto the trailer. It would just sit and spin on the ramp. Is there any sense in upgrading the front tires, since it's a two wheel drive and all they are doing is steering?

I'd start with a little taller rear tires. My daughters little 110cc atv used to hang up on the rear axle allot which makes getting stuck even easier. Eventually I put taller tires all the way around, went down a tooth on the front sprocket, and added spacers to the rims to make it more stable with the taller tires.

Thank you. That's kind of what I'm thinking about doing.
