I couldn't agree more....I would even go as far as saying the wrenching and BS was beneficial too. I'm no mechanic, but have always been mechanically inclined. The wrenching and BS gave me a crash course in everything motorcycle and I'm a better rider because of it.

I took the hawk out to the store and back. Went out to the garage to get something out of the saddlebags later and there was a puddle of gas under it. Got out my flash light and tracked it down to the fuel line where it connects to the carb. The fuel line was resting on the frame and had rubbed a hole in it. Loosened up the carb, snipped off the end of the fuel line, attached it back, repositioned the carb, and good to go.

Not to bad of a fix for my first real issue with the hawk after owning it just over a year.
