Anyone running Dex-cool in their NC250 instead of the green stuff?

DO NOT USE IT! It will turn acidic and eat up the gaskets within a year.

All I had was a bunch of Dex-Cool from the Chevy's I own and no green stuff on hand.
I ended up getting a jug of the green stuff when I went into town the next day. Anything to try to save an hour drive........

It can also turn into a thick GELL that is damn near impossible to clean out of all the passage ways... just say NO to using the DEX

I've only experienced gelling once and it was in my '98 Cavalier. I did a vinegar flush and it really pulled the goop out. It also brought out a lot of rust that the dexcool was supposed to prevent. The car still runs great and I am fortunate to not have any issues after ridding the car of the dexkill.
