One is made by Shoei, a quality feature rich name brand with a good reputation and the other is one of many no name brands off of Amazon.

I use a modular AHR branded helmet from Amazon. It cost me maybe $80. I also use an Icon helmet that was given to me by the previous owner of my Hawk. The Icon is probably a better helmet and runs about $250-$300 new, but I like the modular one for ease of use and versatility. The Icon is "flashier", so wins style points.

since we're resurrecting an old thread here, I'd like to pose a question.

What's a good ADV style helmet to get? I want to get one which I can mount a camera on the front of it. I'm totally clueless as to what is required.

My gear of choice!:
ICON Airflite (flat black), with the visor instead of the face shield
R-Jays Dri-Rider 3 season jacket
Whatever gloves I grab
Tourmaster Ridgeline pants
O'Neal Rider MX boots

I normally run J-Lab wired Bluetooth earbuds for music
