Limited. I do enjoy a little adventure in life, and the flexibility will be useful. I've not always been a dirt-rider, however I have done off-road bicycling quite frequently as a youth, and enjoyed it. Nothing fancy, mind you, just having fun, so I imagine having a little extra power for such things could be tremendous fun indeed. It doesn't hurt that I like the look too. . . LOL

Was thinking that if you only plan to ride street then stick to the street only bikes. They can handle some gravel roads.

Bear in mind that while it's quite interesting, the CVT motorcycle might be difficult to sell when the time comes.

It may also be easy since it can appeal to those who don't want to shift.
