CSC Shipping Costs
When I was down at CSC this past week I had a discussion with Steve about shipping costs of parts and accessories. About how I went to order an $8 air filter foam and shipping showed up as $12 so I cancelled my order. Not the first time I've done that. Turns out it's a systems problem. Their current system doesn't do well for mail order and pricing out shipping so the shipping looks expensive but what they actually were doing was not finishing the processing of your credit card until they boxed and weighed and then stuck a label on it for shipping which would be much cheaper than what the website showed. So if you compared your credit card bill vs what the receipt showed it would be different. But since WE wouldn't know that I of course had the conversation with him and I wasn't the only one. Thanks for that info!
Been wanting to order several upgrades for the Mrs. Bashan (using TT250 parts), but shipping was always stopping me from ordering before... wasn't about to spend an extra $70 to ship a dozen or so items that might not actually fit the bike

This is good to hear - I wanted to purchase a new set of tires but looked at the shipping cost and it was $75.00 and I also cancelled my order. I'll try again next time they have a sale.

Glad to know. I ordered a 35 cent part and the shipping was $13.44. Was about to cancel until I read this. I just emailed them to confirm the shipping cost with me before shipping.

My shipping charge didn’t change
I was charged for shipping exactly as stated when I placed the order!
I think they’re just trying to BOOST SALES! Or reduce over-stocked inventory. Be sure to get it in writing. Merry Christmas and Good Luck |

I was just refunded $8.94 in shipping. CSC responds quickly to there emails.
