throttle Cable issue 2015 Hawk

Hey all, Long time no post. Well I took a CV-19 ride today and noticed that when I turn to the right the throttle revs. Confession: I didn't ride my hawk for about 9 months. Fired right up with a new battery. Gotta love it. It is such a good bike.

Shocker alert.... My wife who was luke warm about motorcycles want to take a dirt riding course and get a little bang around town bike. I'm thinking a 2020 Yamaha XT250 is in her future. I want her first bike to be stupid reliable. No quirky china bike. I love mine but I don't want her to deal with rejetting, chokes, yadda yadda Yadda.

Are the old timers still on? MegaDan Culcune Etc.... I remember when Mega was the new guy. Any word from Fast Doc?

So you think i cam just try to
lube the cable,?
buy a new cable?
Try to adjust my current cable?
All of the above? None of the above? Some of the above?

Adjust the cable with the bars to the right and/or re-route the cable so it had less tension applied to it with the bars turned.

Lubing cables never hurts. I do mine at least once a year
