Taon 110 dirt bike

Hey guys. Son was riding almost new (3hrs) 110 tao. Bike just died. I have no spark. Checked connections, checked continuity of the wires. I am getting a signal from the stator to the cdi. No voltage at coil, am I supposed to have voltage to the cdi? I think the cdi is bad since I have nothing coming out. How/what do I need to check?

Looks like it's an ac. Watched the video in the link. Very informative. Bought 3 China dirt bikes, so far have not had great luck.

Faint spark

Hey guys. While checking the bike again last night I noticed faint spark from the spark plug. Is it possible the plug is just no good? I am going to try and get one tomorrow either way.

Alright. Tested my pick up and stator, that seems all good. The coil is only reading .3 ohms. This is most likely the culprit correct?

.3 Ω is a healthy reading of primary side...
Healthy secondary is around 3.*k to 4.*kΩ

I should have more voltage coming out of the cdi than going in correct? I have 25 to 30 going in, 100mV coming out.

So, not sure what I did when I changed the oil, but drained and bit out and now it runs fine. Should I leave the oil level half way up the stick?
