The first pic shows the adjustment. It pulls the rear of the engine up and down. Somewhat of a T-bolt that mounts to the rear engine mounts. I think the rear of the engine needs to shift to the left about 1/16 to 1/8 inch.

Do you really need two drive chains? Perhaps you can move the outer, counter shaft sprocket closer to the engine a bit, and just use one drive chain on both outer sprockets?

Spud, I have been thinking the same thing. One #50 chain should be strong enough for the job.

I bet one drive chain will work just fine, especially at lower speeds. In any event, it's certainly worth a try.

Consider it your first performance mod. Less rotating weight.

I don't know why they used a double row chain. Not that much power being made.

I was thinking the same thing. A lot of rotating mass for 150cc.

We just got back to KS. All the parts are in so tonight or tomorrow we should be able to put it back together.

Last night we installed the new yellow clutch springs, belt, and the variator with 8 gram sliders. Took it out for some after dark testing. CVT works much better.

Today we modified the chain adjuster/mount. I cut off an 1/8 inch of material so that the rear of the engine could move over. This helped alot. I think I need to take alittle bit more.

Pictures and video on the way.

We have put about a total of an hour run time. About 3/4 gallon of gas used.

Pics of the new yellow 1500rpm torque and clutch springs. The exhaust mount that lost the nut on the inside of the cover. I used the impact to tighten it back up. Emilie with her helmet.

Did you get Emilie's helmet at Target? I know they sell helmets.

I found the helmet on ebay. Lightly used fulmer helmet. It has to be pink.
