I thought I'd mention one more thing....and it's a mistake that was made by myself as a newby years back and also others and that is, don't get to anal right out of the gate about how it runs! Of course, it will be lean and do strange things but once you get the carb, valves and adjustments sorted out, ride it! I love these Hondoid "belly button" (pushrod) motors but even after initial jetting, slide clip and mods, they will change their attitude noticably as it loosens up over an oil change or two.
