Video does not play

When I click on videos embedded in post they do not play, but redirect me to
a failed to open page.

What web browser are you using? I don't have any problems with Google Chrome.

I'm afraid I don't know much about either Macintosh computers, or the Safari web browser. Have you tried a different web browser?

I just thought I'd mention it. I can find the videos on youtube and watch them, but just cant click through. It is a coding thing with vbulletin, cookies and my non mainstream mac.

I did take a look at the source code, and the hyperlink in the code does not have the https, but rather just http. Maybe that is all that it is.



That seems to work for me know in the preview post, let me try after posting it up.

EDIT, that seems to work, but no embed.

Well, I think I see it, but how to fix the forum to not do that is the question. My browser does correct for the https.

If you view source of a video page, like the johnny walker vid, then find "johnny". you will see the "a href" with a div tag in the a href command part of the coding. It should just href the web address, not the css coding.

If I just hover over the play button, the "goto address" is {div style='text-align: center; margin: 20px;} with the spaces parsed to ":%20"

I don't know where to fix that in the vbulletin software. I've monkeyed with SMF and phpbb a little.

I now only have one forum left, http://zywie.com/smf/index.php it's a very slow recipe forum.
