Hawk 250 tires

How many miles did you get out of your tires
I’m riding all street and have over 7000 miles on them
But they are pretty far down, I have a new tire but it doesn’t
Look fun to do

I got 3 k from my stock rear, and about 3.5 from the stock front. I got 2k from an IRC GP-1 rear, and 3k and counting from an IRC GP-1 front, it still looks fantastic. I put a Shinko 705 on the rear about 1k miles ago, and it looks alright. I keep it covered most of the day, and in the garage when I'm home, but it's outside at the peak uv exposure point 5 days a week until sundown because I take it work. I've noticed cracks along the tread, but nothing has separated yet. It's a very popular "high mileage" tire. DR650's and KLR650's getting 8k miles from them. It's been very dry lately, so I couldn't comment on the traction as far as wet weather goes. But I'm not nearly as confident taking clover leaf exists at 45+ mph as I was with the GP-1's. Life is a trade, I suppose.

700 miles ,needed knobby tire. Did not like stock tire,to hard slippery on wet roads.
