110 bushbear

i have a semi-automatic it starting to slip when i go from 3 to 4th any idea's on what i can do
also it has an electric starter that made a back fire like sound now it won't do anything any help would be great

If the semi automatic clutch works the same way as on the original Hondas the adjustment procedure is as follows:

Find spanner to fit adjuster locknut and screwdriver to fit adjusting screw.

Place spanner on locknut and driver on screw.

Holding adjuster so that it does not move unless you want it, undo locknut and turn adjuster clockwise about half a turn. No more. This is to free the mechanism.

Turn adjuster counterclockwise until resistance is felt, don't force it.

Turn adjuster clockwise 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn. Hold adjuster steady with the driver and re-tighten lock nut.
