Desert group ride.

No pics. My little camera died.

About 10 of us met up in the local desert just outside of Pasco at Juniper Dunes Wilderness Area for a ride.

We had a great time, we rode all day! On and off for breaks, talking, etc. but we put in a lot of miles. The other guys brought us out to areas of that particular winderness Roger and I had never seen. Thank goodness we had the paddles on our motocrossers or we would have never kept up with the more experienced riders.

We rode about 60 miles. In the sand that's a ton! Still the YZ did it without needing the tank topped off. Not bad.

There were two teenage girls with us. One was about 13 on a CRF150, the other about 16 on a CRF230. My only hope for myself is I someday can ride as good as those two young girls! My gosh they were good. They have been riding since they were very small. Who would picture a mild 150 trail bike, on knobbies, powersliding around on sand dunes!

The fact she only weighed about 80 lbs probably helped...

Everyone had fun, no injuries, mechanical problems, or incidents.

We were blessed with good weather too. :P

Haha, HP / Weight ratio, physics don't lie. Give a little grom some power and you'll never catch em...suspension loves lightweight riders as well.
