RPS Hawk handlebar vibration :(

Any other Hawk owners experiencing a lot of vibration in the handlebars at mid to high RPM. Worst handlebar vibration I have experienced on any China bike. I checked all the motormount bolts and they all seem torqued. The vibration is only very noticeable on the handlebars, the seat, tank and other parts of the bike are pretty much vibe free.

I'm tempted to switch bars with an old GY2 Hi-bird beater to see if that helps. I know the Lifan GY-5 has a metal plug in the bar end, is this a weight of sorts to reduce vibration.

Tried a set of Pro Taper pillow top grips, and they don't do much to help.

Any other tips or tricks appreciated.

Thanks!

ps love the bike...hate the handlebar vibration

Try some bar end weights.

I noticed a substansial increase in bar vibes on my shineray when I installed a set of bark busters, I am guessing because it stiffened the bars up...

A switch to aluminum bars often helps. Also, the use of mechanic's glove that are designed for impact wrenches are a benefit. They have a padded palm, and they're available at Lowe's, HD and Walmart.
