Tagged in Tennessee

At the county clerk's office I handed in my MCO and bill of sale, paid taxes and fees ($157 total) and walked out with tags, title and registration. Oddly enough, she told me to have fun on my new dirt bike, when I told her that it was a street and trail she looked a bit confused....
Dang, I could have bought a straight dirt bike and got it tagged!

Like I said, I really appreciate everything you've have done to get me there!

But I never did get it on the road today. I plan on getting up early in the morning and going for a ride before anyone else here even wakes up. I've been planning to follow the Nolichucky river as far as I can, then heading on the backroads into the North Carolina mountains... I'll stick to the paved/gravel fireroads in the Pisga Nat. Forest. Pretty much just a shakedown ride. The bike seems pretty solid and I don't expect any problems. As long as the freaking bears leave me alone this time!

Just remember, it needs to have gas in it to make it go forward without your help.
I rode mine about 20 miles on a quarter gallon then pushed it 4 blocks to the gas station. I put 2 bucks in there and have gone another 150 miles.

Stop often to check for loose bolts.!!

Psyched to hear your gonna go for a good ride.... and your plated and legal.... Be sure you dont terrify the natives too much and keep a tool kit handy to check for loose bolts frequently.. The first few miles on your new China bike are the most critical for discovering hidden problems... I would recomend staying close to home for at least the first 100 miles...
But thats just me.. so... rip it up and have fun and be safe....

I rode yesterday, but didn't get it off road. Today I road with a buddy up to the Buffalo mountain ATV area... ran out of time before we could hit the good trails but I missed no chance at logs/rocks/mud/ect... I'm impressed with the bikes manners offroad, and I ran it pretty hard. I have a buzzing that sounds like a bolt working loose and I need to adjust the valves... nothing unexpected on a new bike...
