Hawk 250 Key Replacement

So I've had my Hawk since August 2017 and have somehow managed to lose one key off of my carabiner key chain and somehow ended up breaking my spare key. I know, some very bad luck indeed to lose both keys in 4 months by some circumstances my brain has yet to comprehend.

So here lies the problem. It doesnt appear that a locksmith will be able to cut a new key and even if he did that still leaves the issue with the gas cap which requires the original key. If the locksmith cant cut a new key how do i replace the gas cap if i can't unlock it? Also, the broken key is long gone, i have no idea where i broke it off or even how that happened in the first place. Anyone had to replace any keys before?

You can get blank keys from here http://www.cscmotorcycles.com/TT250-...-p/zt5-106.htm but without the original key I don't know how you will get the cap off without destroying it. You can find the replacement caps on Amazon and Ebay. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KJL6JWC...iglink28144-20

A good locksmith can cut a key from a blank without the original. All they need is the lock cylinder with a couple of blanks. It won't be super cheap, but it is totally possible. I had to do it for an old 1980's Isuzu I owned, which used unique keys that were not easy to find off the shelf.

Do the 2017 Hawk 250's require a transponder key? I am unsure if the bike has an immobilizer system, if it does it will require a different type of key. Anyone know if I need the transponder key or the regular metal head? Any info would be appreciated!
