Hey Savage

What make & size quad is it? Send me a pic to my e~mail in my signature. Need pic of the vehicle & broken part. I have access to a lot of the off-brand parts...it may take a little bit to figure out who actually made the quad.

Bruce

Monday at latest.... it arrived today!

Well,

They actually delivered it today.... as promised still cant believe it was only $900.00 delivered. If ya look in my album you can see my new toy. http://www.chinariders.net/gallery2/...g2_itemId=1108

Was pleased to see I got "Shuang" tires with the bike.. lol.. now if it was a Fukang ATV I'd have a Fukang/Shuang to be proud of lol.. Sorry couldnt resist.

The epa plate says its manufactured by HiBird usa.. The manual says from HI-BIRD Industry in Chongqing, China.

So far so good, no damage, cracks or blemishes, cant mess anymore with it today.. I gotta do some paperwork...

Ordered it Tuesday, got it on Monday. I'm in CT. The guy said it would arrive either Friday or Monday... at the latest.. Which it did. At least everything they have told me so far is on the up and up. Its coming from Oklahoma and who knows.. All I know is it will arrive when they tell you it will.. Unlike some of my previous experiences.

Chris,
In another post you said these enduros only had 3 inches of suspension travel, where did you get that info from? My Lifan has at least 7 to 8, the same if not more than most China quads and you can ride it to different trails instead of having to trailer it unless thats what you want to do, either way just giving you a heads up, I'm looking forward to the vids of whatever you get...

You may want to call the company and see if you can get some knuckles ordered for the front arms. The broken one I saw looked to be made of pot metal and it wasn't very thick. Just a friendly heads up

Motorxtremes is near there as well. Hi-Bird set up shop probably because motorxtremes was one of their biggest dealers/distributors, and now this place has opened up as well

Got it together

Today, thought I was just going to unpack the crate... But.... I couldnt stop..

http://www.chinariders.net/gallery2/...g2_itemId=3974

Typing with blue loctite stained fingers... I'm reporting that assembly went quite well.. Only took about 2 and a 1/2 hours. Its a very comfortable sized atv for an adult.

The engine fired up quite nicely on the first attempt. Engine was stamped with 164FML, so now I have 3 Chinese engines... A 164, 163 and a 167.
Only had to adjust the idle down a bit...

I have absolutely no experience with atv's and to be honest.. this one is for my girlfriend.. I rode an atv for the first time today.. Personally I prefer two wheels and Chris... as Ambassador said.. freedom from trailers and crossing small bridges like you did on Trubattle's bike in the video, may be a better choice, if you get an enduro that can be plated.

Savage, I am such a newbie to atv's that I have to look up knuckles for front arms.. They sound good.. Whatever they are.. Sounds like Bruce from EjCycles.. might be able to help me out..

If anyone is in the market for an atv and does not have a brick and mortar dealer nearby... I would recommend digikool.net. Then check with Bruce at ejcycles or Tom at RPM for any mods or parts you may need.

Anyhow. So far so good.

these things are awesome.

can these be made street legal?

it may be a silly question but i saw online that they can be made street legal in Mississippi. i live in Florida, and did not see any info on the dmv's website.
