Thanks for the link Joe,

I had been there before, but somehow I missed the magic button "for advanced specs" which lists the actual tire dimensions.

Hey Joe,

Sorry to see you go, as you've been one of the best guys out there representing CSC and the RX3. Lord know....you get around! ;-)
I do get the need for more power though. Fortunately, for the Mrs. and I always riding within 100 miles of our house, on twisties that keep the speeds below freeway speed, the RX3 is perfect for that. We have our little dual sports for trail riding so our RX3's never see anything beyond gravel roads. If our needs were more than this on a regular basis, like your adventures, I'd probably be shopping too.

Good luck with the F8 and keep in touch!

Less expenses and you get use to having one "do all" bike for everything. I think you did good by starting out on the RX3 and can look back at the small investment it was and the amount of fun times you've had on it and the experience it gave you to appreciate a step up to the new bike.
No fare leaving us without at least 1 pic of your new bike OK? Have fun and stay safe out there And I hope our paths cross again soon MexGiver, rj
OK RJ, here is my new bike...factory fresh. Today some of the farkles arrived so I've already put on a bunch of stuff. I also have my "German bike" tools!

Congrats on the new ride
my house has an RX3 (mine) and an F800GS (non Adventure version - His) I'm still learning on my RX3 and haven't put nearly enough miles on it - but foresee buying a larger cc bike at some point simply because to go anywhere out here where I am requires getting on the freeway for long stretches where the average speed of traffic is often 75mph.

Congratulations again! I bought the exact same bike!) You check just the quality of color frame, just in case. In my motorcycle I discovered a poor quality painting. Now the dealer repaints the frame.

So it's fine that there are no defects! Apparently I'm just a little bit unlucky

That feels a bit strange, you were a bit of a fixture on the RX3 scene. Enjoy the Beemer.

After I got rid of the RX3 and said goodbye in this forum I keep lurking and have answered questions and some asked me to let them know what I’ve been up to...we’ll, I am sitting in Deadhorse Alaska at the end of the Dalton. I’ve posted some daily Ride notes and pictures on ADVrider. Check it out if interested: https://advrider.com/index.php?threa...nada-trip-2018
