Stator wiring

Almost finished the bike off now but the business that I ordered the connector for the stator from fycked the order up and haven't sent enough male terminals for the plug. My uration is will the bike still fire up if I don't connect the pink and yellow wires from the stator to the reg/rec or will I have to wait for the male terminals to arrive?

finally managed to get time to finish the bike and everything works but I Still cant get the damn thing to fire up. I did have the carb rebuilt before I started all the work on the bike but I don't think it has been set up correctly.

does anyone know where the best place to start is with the idle screw and the pilot jet screw. the other thing I will be trying tomorrow is a fresh tank of petrol just to see if it is the petrol that is the issue.

That depends upon the air filter, exhaust, main jet and slow jet. What sizes are the main and slow jets?
