The calm before the storm.

We got some snow last night. They cancelled Church.

We've had the storm, now the cold.

Now, it's time to stay warm.

They actually called church for that?

Remember we are in the South. 1 inch is a big deal. We got about 3 inches total with some drifts. Any more and the go kart would not be able to get around. Lots of wheelspin and unintentionally drifting. Briana is practicing her winter driving.

She fell off the sled and I was drifting the go kart around her.

Ha. We used to do that with an old Mercury snowmobile on a frozen lake with a toboggan with six kids on it. I only got stitches once.

Sigh, good times.

That looks like an AMAZING good time and the perfect way to enjoy it.

We have had a mild winter so far thank God. No snow and no very cold temps, but that can change...

It looks like you were enjoying God's creation. An excellent way to spend Sunday when Church is cancelled.

Your buggy was finished in perfect time.

Yes, you finished the go cart just in time for fun in the snow! Thanks for posting the great photos, Allen.

It was just in time. I am waiting on the new throttle cable. The temporary hand throttle makes driving interesting. Also the CVT does not like the cold until it gets nice and warm. Takes 15 minutes to get the transmission up to temp. It was fine above freezing.
