Was'nt talking about the valve stems. I was refering to the directional tread patern on the tires.
Good looking machine! Congrats.

Looks really good universal! Have you thought about wheel spacers?
I put them on mine and it really seemed to help a lot.

They are spacers that move the tires out to give a wider track. Some screw on the studs, and some are just like big washers to go between the axle and the rim. Problem comes when you go too far and put extra stress on things that were not engineered to handle that wide of a footprint. Personally I think its worth the chance.

I don't know why, but all the quads I have ever seen have a more narrow track in the rear, it looks retarded.

Nice to hear from you again...

Yes as a matter of fact I was going to look tonight for the thread where you talked about the spacers. Your went on the threads correct?

Got them off of Ebay?

Yes, I had them on backwards. Never fails, I always do at least one "Doh" thing per project. I of all people should have caught that. I have been running Swampers on my Jeeps for ever. Most of them have been directional. Thanks for pointing it out before any of my friends came over and saw it.

Tonight I got the fenders on. Had to redo the hardware situation for the foot pegs/guards. I also got the rear brakes bolted up.
Handle bar adjusted and tightened. Lines seem to be ok and in a chaff free position.

Front bumper on, and started the rear rack.

Some have said that they put stress on the wheel, but I had no problems. Also I have not read any actual problems from people who have used them on an ATV sight that I belong to.
these are the ones I used on the rear tires.

I wonder if the studs on mine are the same.

Those are what I need. Thanks.

I just hate to waste 30 bucks if they are the wrong thread size.

Here is the final product with all the goofy decals removed. I will do some vids as soon as I can. So far, all I can say is that I am damn glad I saved about 6 grand and went with this quad. Is it Jap quality? Umm No.... Is it good enough for a first learner? Hell yes. Is it worth the twelvehundo ? Absolutely.

I will enjoy it till I break it beyond repair, then buy another.

Once again I am the Guinea Pig. I Have a buddy doing a Utility and another one doing the same quad I just did. I will probably do more pics for the Utility. I know not everyone cares to read this stuff, but when I was searching CR I wish I would have found a few more posts like this.

Wheel spacers for the rear are coming.
If anyone needs any close ups or different pics just ask.

Looks great. I think you are going to be happy with the wheel spacers too. The rear looks too narrow otherwise.

I am glad you are taking the time to fill us in, it is a great education. Hey, please encourage your friend that is buying the utility, to post his opinion. I know many people in my area who are watching to see what you think of yours. My associates are farmers and outdoors people and are mostly the utility type.

I would be more likely to purchase a utility quad too.
