French Alps 2014

Hi guys,

on sunday I will be on the way from Germany to the French Alps. I want to ride all the way down to Menton France near Monaco. I want to ride on the "Routes des Grandes Alps" (great Alpine Road).

https://www.google.com/maps/ms?msid=...ad186f15&msa=0

I will try to post something every day if I can or have Internet. Again like my trip to lake garda last year I have made no reservations for anything. I will hop on the Tenere xt660z and see what Happens! I Will be on the road for 6-7 days and be staying at camping sites at night.

Fantastic! Since most of us don't have the ability to just take off on an awesome adventure like that, I'm grateful that you're sharing it with us.

So cool! I'm guessing that you cut through Switzerland on your journey; did you ride through Austria as well?

Hi,
day 2 & 3. I didn't have any Internet yesterday. Found a place to stay for the night and seems they have good WiFi. Yesterday I rode from Thonon-les Yesterday to Bourg ST Maurice. Was almost 200 kilometers. Today I rode from Bourg St. Maurice to St. PAUL Sur baye. That was quite a ride today. I was on col de I'Iseran with 2764 Meters and Col du Galibier with 2646 Meters and Col d'Izoard at 2360 Meters. Col is the French word for "Mount". Pictures are to come..
